Mode, as translated from the Italian language: Success, movement, fashion and modern … this was the owner’s design directive for this distinctly modern dwelling for the laid back visual surroundings of Lonavala.
The design inspirations are disciplined by the universal elements of 3 dimensional space and form. The enormous double height living space is clearly the heart of the design. The design does emphasizes the clients need for optimization of spaces within market driven size.  Full height sliding windows open up the interior spaces, extend the living areas to the balconies and provide privacy were required. The well-proportioned façade's compositional geometry is inspired by the 20th century modern Italian rationalist architects.
