Illuminate Your Space: 5 Tips for Choosing the Perfect Bathroom Lighting

How to plan your Bathroom Lighting ??

Planning your bathroom lighting requires a thoughtful approach to create a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Assess natural light and its impact on your bathroom layout. Layer lighting for grooming, relaxation, and ambiance. Choose moisture-resistant fixtures for glare-free illumination. Use dimmers for mood control. Add stylish fixtures for both design and functionality

TASK LIGHTING

If you want to have great lighting while you get ready for the day, task lighting will be your best friend. Light directly above or to the sides of your mirror. If you have enough space, placing sconces on either side of your mirror is the best way to achieve more even, flattering light. . Either way, don't forget to add task lighting near your mirror

OVERHEAD LIGHTING

Balancing out task lighting with some overhead lighting is key, especially in a larger bathroom. This can be done with recessed lights or a flush-mount fixture for a more decorative look. Just be sure the overhead lighting you add is adequate for the space you have.

 NATURAL LIGHTING

There's nothing we love more than a space with great natural lighting. Bathrooms aren't typically known for this, but if you have a window in there then take advantage of it! Instead of choosing frosted glass, opt for window treatments like privacy-lined roman shades. These will allow you the privacy you need, while still giving you the option of letting natural light into the space by pulling them up. It's a win-win!

SHOWER LIGHTING

It's easy to forget about lighting your shower, but it's never a bad idea to do just that. Wet-rated recessed lights will help keep your shower from feeling dark and enclosed.

STATEMENT LIGHTING

If you're looking to dress up the design in your bathroom, consider a creative alternative to the typical bathroom lighting solutions. Hang a chandelier above your bathtub .Try centring a cool pendant in your space if your ceilings are high enough. Mount sconces directly on top of the mirror, the options are endless, so go get creative!!!
